A beautiful and creative set of photos from a father who clearly loves his daughters.
All at once, this image reminds me of my father as a boy, my granddad’s house in Maryland, my favorite type of donut, lovely architecture with equally fantastic furnishings and the day I was stuck inside during a neighborhood block party with the chickenpox.
As a ‘non-traditional’ photographer (I construct my subject matter rather than go find it) people find it hard to grasp what exactly it is that I do. And the fact that it is all done in front of the camera, with no digital manipulation, adds its own set of challenges.
